Norway Industrial Output Growth Weakest in 4 Months
Norway's industrial production grew 2.3 percent year-on-year in June of 2022, slowing from a downwardly revised 4.9% rise in the previous month.
The figure was the weakest growth in industrial production since February, as production of electricity, gas and steam rebounded (0.8% vs -10.7%), amid a decline in both of extraction and related services (-3.2% vs 5.9% in May) and manufacturing, mining and quarrying (-2.2% vs -2.3%).
On a monthly basis, the industrial production fell 1.7 percent, reversing from an upwardly revised 1.1 percent gain in May.
