QNB renews its Qatar National Day celebrations sponsorship

The sponsorship confirms the bank’s pride in Qatar’s national identity and its keenness to take part in celebrating this occasion, which embodies the country’s history and highlights the customs and traditions of the Qatari society. The sponsorship also emphasizes the years-long partnership with the organizing committee of Qatar National Day celebrations, and supports its role and commitment towards national responsibility.
It is worth mentioning that QNB’s sponsorship, which is under the Sardal category, aims to showcase the bank’s brand in all events and activities that will be held across the country to celebrate this important occasion on December 18.
The National Day celebrations this year will coincide with the end of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM. The final match and closing ceremony of the tournament will be held on the same date, December 18, therefore it will be an unforgettable occasion locally and internationally.
This year’s events will be organized across various locations in Doha, while the main events will be held in Umm Salal Muhammad city, and will include many cultural, artistic and social activities for individuals and citizens and residents families.
The "Sardal" category is the highest category for sponsoring National Day activities. The word "Sardal" is derived from the Gulf region’s naval culture and means captain of a fleet of ships.
