ITI, NBE Celebrate Successful Conclusion of Data Security Training
The Information Technology Institute (ITI) at Creativa Innovation Hub – Cairo University has celebrated the successful conclusion of round three of the data security academy training program, in partnership with the National Bank of Egypt (NBE).
The program was implemented within the framework of the cooperation protocol between ITI and NBE on creating a joint academy to provide professional IT training, qualifying young graduates to work for NBE.
The data security academy is a 400-hour program carried out over four months. Graduates from different faculties joined the training, which covered various IT tracks such as penetration testing, incident response, and digital forensics.
The academy played an important role in upskilling graduates and enhancing their employability. The ITI-NBE collaboration culminated in building highly-trained professionals, of whom some managed to fill decent jobs at NBE branches after the end of the training.
ITI is preparing to carry out a new round of the joint program in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). It is worth mentioning that ITI is one of the training arms of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). The Institute works to upskill young Egyptians and get them ready for the job marketplace through capacity-building programs in top IT specializations.
