Commercial International Bank (CIB) Ranks in the Top 10 of Fortune’s 2024 “Change the World List”
CIB, Egypt’s leading private-sector bank, has been named as one of the world’s most influential companies on Fortune’s “Change the World List” in 2024. The list recognizes companies throughout the world that have made a significant social and economic impact through their operations and business strategies. CIB is the only company from Africa or the Middle East to be included in the global ranking.
CIB’s 9th place ranking highlights its leadership in promoting sustainable practices and driving economic development. It also demonstrates the bank’s adherence to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices as well as the integration of digital financial services across the bank. At the same time, CIB’s deep commitment to the local communities in which it operates has had a lasting positive impact on the larger region.
