The Industrial Development Bank (IDB) has announced a job opportunity for the position of Head of Investments & Shareholders Department at its headquarters in Cairo. This role requires extensive experience in investment management and shareholder relations, along with excellent analytical and communication skills. The position aims to lead and organize investment activities and enhance the bank’s investment growth in alignment with its strategic goals
Duties & Responsibilities
Investment Management
Plan and manage investments to ensure growth and achieve the bank’s annual targets
Supervise the bank’s owned investments and monitor periodic reports related to them
Prepare detailed studies on available investment opportunities and provide necessary recommendations
Ensure compliance with the Central Bank’s regulations and guidelines
Shareholder Relations Management
Oversee shareholder affairs and communicate with them by providing necessary data and information
Receive shareholders, respond to their inquiries, and address their concerns
Coordinate the preparation for the bank’s general assemblies and represent the bank in them
Manage dealings with Misr for Central Clearing and Depository (MCDR) and prepare monthly reports for the Central Bank of Egypt
Administration & Development
Prepare the annual investment plan and budget to support the bank’s objectives
Organize work within the Investments & Shareholders Relations Department to ensure efficiency
Develop and update departmental procedures to enhance workflow effectiveness
Coordinate with the Human Resources sector regarding the development and evaluation of direct subordinates
Qualifications & Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a relevant major
A minimum of 15 years of experience in investment management or shareholder relation
Excellent analytical skills for assessing financial data and making sound investment decisions
Strong communication skills to engage with shareholders and various internal and external stakeholders
