QNB supports conservation of water and electricity in cooperation with Kahramaa
QNB, one of the largest financial institutions in the Middle East and Africa, announced its Gold Sponsorship of the Tarsheed Carnival 2023, to be organized by the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) starting from 7 March at Kahramaa Awareness Park.
Tarsheed is a national program that aims to raise awareness about conservation and energy efficiency.
The carnival, which will be taking place over the course of one week, aims to raise awareness to the public about sustainable development goals, which are in line with global vision as well as the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
QNB’s participation comes as part of its sustainability driven initiatives in Qatar and throughout the markets in which it operates, which is reflected in supporting all projects and efforts towards building a more sustainable world. Through capitalizing on such efforts, the Group is also dedicated to bring forward its long-term projects on Sustainability framework.
The carnival includes a number of activities that will open to the public as well as other entities, to enhance the cooperation between Kahramaa and different sectors and to spread awareness about conservation of water and electricity among the audience.
