Egypt Among the Top 10 African Countries in Gold Reserves in 2024

The Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) of the Egyptian Cabinet announced, based on data from Africa Business Insider, that Egypt is among the top 10 African countries in terms of gold reserves in 2024, according to a report by the World Gold Council.

Egypt’s Gold Reserves:
The report revealed that Egypt holds a strong gold reserve of 126.82 tons, reinforcing its economic position and supporting its growth and sustainable development plans. This aligns with the country’s strategy to strengthen its foreign reserves and ensure greater economic stability.
